The inaugural Savour The Tweed isputting a spotlight local and visiting chefs, serving up menus inspired by locally grown and made foods, as well as the growing list of Tweed-made drinks. 

Savour The Tweed features gourmet offerings and those who bring them to life, from First Nations storytellers and passionate chefs to talented distillers, brewers and baristas. A culinary experience where fresh-grown goodness is on the menu and delicious times are guaranteed.  

Apex Dining x Louis Tikaram x Uncle Franc Storytelling x Taha Distillery 

Apex Dining at the Tweed Regional Gallery presents a local yarning circle with insightful food storytelling by Bundjalung elder and custodian of food culture Uncle Franc, brought to the table with flair by renowned chef Louis Tikaram (of Stanley Chinese Restaurant in Brisbane, and who grew up in the region), joining in-house chef Andelson Del Vega in preparing a feast of Louis’ signature Singaporean-style Chilli Crab and lemongrass rice. A welcome vodka rosella spritz by Tweed distillers Taha Distillery is included.
